Marketing Review

Upload marketing materials for AI screening against your regulatory rulebook — prohibited language, missing disclosures, and disclaimer gaps flagged before anything goes out.

What it does

The Marketing Review app screens investment marketing materials — fund fact sheets, pitch decks, client communications, social media posts — against the advertising and disclosure rules that apply in your distribution markets.

The review is grounded in the actual rulebook: SFC advertising guidelines, FCA financial promotions rules, SEC advertising rules, or your own internal standards. Every flag includes the specific rule the material may breach, not just a generic warning.

Key capabilities

  • Prohibited language detection. Flags absolute return claims, unqualified performance projections, missing risk warnings, and other commonly prohibited phrases under multiple jurisdictions' rules.
  • Disclosure completeness check. Verifies that required disclosures — past performance disclaimers, fee disclosure, regulatory licensing statements — are present and correctly worded.
  • Jurisdiction-specific review. Select the distribution markets for the material; the review applies the advertising rules for each jurisdiction simultaneously.
  • AI-suggested corrections. For each flag, the platform suggests compliant alternative wording grounded in the relevant rule.
  • Approval workflow. Materials move through draft → reviewed → approved stages with an audit trail. Approved versions are archived with reviewer name and date.
  • Bulk review. Upload multiple materials at once for batch screening — useful at quarter-end when a full suite of fund communications needs compliance sign-off.

Typical workflow

  1. Marketing uploads a draft material (PDF, DOCX, or image).
  2. Compliance officer selects the distribution jurisdictions and runs the review.
  3. Flags are listed by severity with the rule citation and suggested correction.
  4. Compliance officer discusses flagged items with marketing, and the revised material is re-uploaded.
  5. Final approved version is signed off in-platform and archived.
